Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FairPick: Decision Wheel (the “App,” “FairPick,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the App. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of FairPick.

1. Information you create in the App

FairPick lets you create decision wheels and records information needed to provide its features. This may include:

• wheel titles and choice labels;
• choice colors, weights, and enabled or disabled status;
• spin results and the date and time of each result; and
• preferences such as theme, sound, haptics, and reduced motion.

This information is stored locally in the App’s private storage on your device. We do not receive it or have access to it. You should avoid entering sensitive personal information into wheel titles or choices if other people can access your device.

2. Information we collect or share

We do not collect or transmit personal information, device identifiers, location, contacts, photos, audio recordings, usage analytics, advertising data, or crash reports. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. The App does not contain advertising or third-party analytics and does not require an account.

3. Device features and permissions

FairPick can play bundled sound effects and provide haptic feedback during a spin. These features operate on your device and do not record audio or collect information. The App does not request microphone access. You can turn sound and haptics off in the App’s settings.

4. How information is used

Locally stored information is used only to provide App functionality, such as displaying your saved wheels, remembering your preferences, and showing your decision history. The core App does not require an internet connection.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove saved items through the App where deletion controls are available, or delete all App information by selecting Settings → Reset App Data. Clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App will also remove locally stored information, subject to your device platform’s backup and restore behavior. Because we do not receive this information, we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.

6. Security

FairPick stores information within the App’s private on-device storage and does not operate a server that receives your App content. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so you should protect access to your device and keep its operating system up to date.

7. Children’s privacy

FairPick does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users. If a child uses the App, their wheels and results are handled locally on the device in the same way described in this policy.

8. App stores and operating systems

Your app store provider and device operating system may independently process information related to downloading, purchasing, updating, backing up, or diagnosing apps. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice where required.
