GameBooster is designed as an offline device performance optimization tool. We do not gather, upload, or sell your personal data. All diagnostic and optimization operations are performed locally on your device.

2. Information Collection and Local Processing

To provide performance-boosting services, GameBooster accesses certain features of your device. These details are used exclusively in real-time, local memory, and are never saved or transmitted:

• Installed Applications & Usage Statistics: Used to identify currently active games and terminate memory-intensive background apps to allocate resources to your gaming sessions.
• System Cache & Junk Data: Used by the storage cleaner module to find temporary junk files and clear up device storage.
• Battery Status & Hardware Telemetry: Used to display real-time battery level, temperature, and charging health.
• Choreographer Frame Rates: Used purely locally to calculate and display the live FPS overlay.

3. Permissions We Use

During setup, the app request the following permissions. Each is required for a specific optimization feature:

• Usage Access (OPSTR_GET_USAGE_STATS): Required to monitor foreground applications and automatically engage Game Mode when a game is launched.
• Kill Background Processes: Allows the app to terminate idle background tasks to free up RAM.
• System Alert Window (Draw Over Other Apps): Required to display the floating FPS counter overlay while you are playing games.
• Do Not Disturb Access (Notification Policy Access): Allows the app to silence calls and alerts when Game Mode is active.

4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

To support development, GameBooster integrates third-party advertising networks. Specifically, we use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements.

5. Data Security & Storage

Because GameBooster does not collect or transmit personal information, we do not store your data on external servers. All operations occur in the volatile memory of your device and are cleared when the process exits.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
